Official Rules
Official Rules for ALL Seasonal NASCAR Fantasy Racing League Contests:

DRIVER SELECTION
Before the start of EVERY RACE, each player will select 12 different drivers and rank them 1 through 12 by logging on to www.radmaxfantasysports.com and accessing his/her account. A "1" rating is the car/driver the player would like to draft first if available on down to 12.

At precisely 9:45am Eastern time on the day of each race, ability to access the car/driver management area will be cutoff. Driver selections must be made before the cutoff date and time denoted on the website. The page will close at the time specified. All changes within the car/driver management are real-time changes which means that as you make changes you will see your changes immediately as the page refreshes.

Car/driver selection errors made by the player will not be corrected. It is the player's responsibility to verify that the car selections made prior to the race are correct. If no cars/drivers are selected for any league the player participates in, RadMax will resort to the player's default driver list.If no cars/drivers are assigned in the player's default list, players will automatically be assigned the highest qualifying drivers for that race.

THE RADMAX DRAFT
At or about 10:00am Eastern time (never earlier) on the day of EVERY regular season race (Bud Shoot Out and All Star Race excluded for the season contest), there will be a live random draft and the draft order will be assigned to every participant.

Whoever is assigned the first draft position will be assigned the driver he/she selected first out of the player's Top 12. Whoever is in the second draft position will be assigned the highest driver he/she has available out of the player's Top 12. This will take place until all 43 drivers are assigned or until everyone in the league has a driver (if the league is not full, not every driver in the race will be assigned to a player).

If a player's 12 drivers have been assigned to other players with higher draft positions, the player will be assigned the highest qualifier for that race that has yet to be assigned to another player.

RadMax reserves the right to postpone the draft for any reason to maintain the integrity of the game. There is a maximum of 43 players (people) in each league. Each player can purchase and play up to four spots per league, all of which act individually and do not relate or help each other in anyway.

Here is an example of how this works:

Player 1
1) J. Gordon
2) T. Stewart
3) M. Kenseth
4) C. Edwards
5) K. Kahne
6) C. Bowyer
7) Ky. Busch
8) Ku. Busch
9) B. Labonte
10) D. Jarrett
11) D. Hamlin
12) J. Sauter
Player 2
1) J. Gordon
2) G. Biffle
3) J. Johnson
4) Earnhardt Jr.
5) K. Kahne
6) C. Bowyer
7) Ky. Busch
8) Ku. Busch
9) R. Newman
10) JP Montoya
11) C. Mears
12) E. Sadler
Player 3
1) M. Kenseth
2) G. Biffle
3) J. Johnson
4) Earnhardt Jr.
5) K. Kahne
6) C. Bowyer
7) Ky. Busch
8) Ku. Busch
9) R. Newman
10) B. Labonte
11) T. Raines
12) S. Riggs

For this example, let's assume Player 1 is randomly assigned the first draft position. Then the first player's driver for that race will be Jeff Gordon.

Player 2 is drafting second and since Jeff Gordon has already been selected, Player 2 would get the second pick which is Greg Biffle.

Player 3 is drafting third and since player 3's number one driver is still available, Player 3 would be assigned Matt Kenseth.

WEEKLY PRIZES AND POINTS
For each race the top three and dead-last place will be awarded the weekly prizes. The top 12 will be awarded points based on rank. The accumulation of these points will determine the participants who will compete in the ultimate season challenge, "The Dash for the Cash."  First place gets 12 points, second place gets 11 points, on down to 1twelfth place getting one point for every race. The player in last place will receive one point.

Weekly cash prizes not assigned to a player are rolled over to the next regular season race; to be added to the same place holder's prize. (Example: Car 20/Tony Stewart takes second place but Car 20/Tony Stewart is not assigned to any player (this can happen in cases where we do not have a full 43 team league), the prize will be added to the second place prize for the next regular season race).

Unofficial results will be posted shortly after the conclusion of each race. Prizes and points will be awarded within 24 hours of release of official race results.

If the car's driver a player has selected is injured DURING the race and cannot finish, thus replaced by another driver, the player will still receive the points of where the car finishes regardless of who the driver is. If the car's driver the player selects qualifies, but is injured BEFORE the start of the race or can not drive, the player will receive the points of where the car finishes regardless of who the driver is. Driver picks are based on the car number first, not by the driver. The player will receive points of where the car officially finishes the race. The players are essentially drafting the car, not the driver.

DASH FOR THE CASH
The top 12 point holders plus ties at the end of the regular season (which is after the 26th regular season race) will advance to "The Dash for the Cash" playoff.  This playoff format will have the Top 12 point holders (and ties) in a SECOND CONTEST for the last 10 races.

The "Dash for the Cash" players will still update cars/drivers, draft, and be eligible for the weekly contests but they will also take part in a second random draft only for the "Dash for the Cash" contestants.

These players will have two drivers, one specified for each contest, for each of the last 10 races. "Dash" contestants are GUARANTEED to get one of their requested drivers in the "Dash for the Cash" contest.

In the case that players in the top 12 are tied in points after the 26th race, the following are esamples of how the participants for the "Dash for the Cash" will be chosen:

Example #1
Lets say first through ninth place have no ties, but five people tie for 10th place. Then those five people tied for 10th would earn spots into the "Dash for the Cash", rounding out to 14 spots (spot 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14). This would make the person behind tenth place actually fall to 15th place, thus that player would not earn a spot in the "Dash for the Cash."

Example #2
Let's say first through seventh place have no ties, but three people tie for eighth place. Then those three people tied for eigth would earn a spot in the "Dash for the Cash," rounding out to 10 spots (spot 8, 9, and 10). Since we still only have 10 players the next two players with the highest points will fill the last two spots. If there are ties for either of the eleventh or twelfth place, the results are the same as in Example #1 and potentially allowing more than 12 players to participate in the "Dash for the Cash"

DASH FOR THE CASH PRIZES
In the case of a tie for first place in the "Dash for the Cash," a tie breaker will be decided by the following factors in this order, sudden death style:

1. Number of wins in the "Dash for the Cash"
2. Number of weekly first places
3. Number of weekly points total
4. Number of weekly second places
5. Number of weekly third places
6. Number of weekly last places

If contestants are still tied after all six tie breakers, the prize money will be divided up equally among those tied for first place in the "Dash for the Cash."  Thus, if two people are tied, we will add up first and second place prizes and divide half to each player.

In the result that there are more participants in the "Dash for the Cash" than 12 (due to ties), the additional places will be paid equal to 12th place.

Even if a team doesn't advance to "The Dash for the Cash," they are still eligible for the weekly contests and prizes. Each person may have a maximum of four teams per league. Each team acquires points individually (cannot combine team scores).

There will be five different leagues for people to pick from. Prize amounts will be determined by which league the team is registered in. If the car's driver is penalized by a point's reduction but maintains his final position, the player will not lose points. If the car's driver was penalized by position, a correction will be made to the final results and may change the player's score and rank in the standings. Once the results of a race are made official, no changes to the standings/results can or will be made.
